Bean Parish Council is hosting a Mature Drivers and Passengers Road Safety Course at Bean Village Hall in response to an emerging casualty trend for people aged 55 and over.

The presentation, between 1.30pm and 3.00pm on Monday 2nd March 2026, is being deliverred by Kent Road Safety and is predominately aimed at the above age group although it also encompasses general road safety advice for passengers as well.

The topics covered are –

  • Crash causation
  • Eco driving
  • Hazard Awareness
  • Alcohol and Medication
  • The Highway Code
  • Tailgating
  • Mobility
  • Smart motorways

The Presentation is FREE and runs for approximately 1.5 hours including a Q&A session at the end.
