We're Recruiting Independent Custody Visitors in Kent
The ICV Scheme is a statutory, volunteer‑led programme that helps ensure people held in police custody are treated fairly, with dignity, and informed of their rights. Volunteers make unannounced visits to custody suites and play a vital role in safeguarding some of the most vulnerable people in our communities.
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences. If you’d like to give back, support your community, and help promote transparency in policing, this could be the role for you. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to apply.
