The Council sets aside a sum of money each year to donate to good causes in the Parish in the form of a grant or donation. The sum allocated is part of the Annual Parish Precept and is available for distribution each year commencing 1st April.

Applications are accepted throughout the year from Groups and Organisations where the grant or donation would provide a direct benefit to residents of the Parish.

Any grant or donation should seek to align with one of the following aims - Community, Education, Heritage, Environment or Quality of Life.

Anyone wishing to apply for a grant or donation is invited to contact the Clerk to the Council, by e-mail to [email protected] who will respond by sending a copy of the Grants & Donations Policy and an Application Form.

Applications made will be considered at the Meeting of the Council on 1st July 2026; therefore, anyone wishing to apply for a grant or donation should ensure that the Application Form is returned to the Parish Office by e-mail to the above address or by post to Wilmington Parish Council Office, Oakfield Park Pavilion, The Spires, Wilmington DA1 2TD no later than 26th June 2026
