Chestnut Grove Playground Closure

Users of the Chestnut Grove Open Space and Playground may not be aware that the land is actually owned by Dartford Borough Council but leased to the Parish Council for an annual rental charge.

The Parish Council is pleased to announce that, at no cost to the Parish, the Borough Council is to install a new piece of play equipment with work commencing on 9th February and an expected completion date of 27th February. It does however mean that, during this period, the Playground will be closed, in addition,the Borough Council are also covering the cost of any necessary re-painting of the existing pieces of equipment.

The Parish Council is extremely grateful to Dartford Borough Council for this addition to the playground which is bound to be appreciated by the young visitors to the Open Space
