Following message from Dartford Borough Council -

For years, Dartford Borough Council has been determined to use the power of culture and the arts to bring people together. To us, the arts are no afterthought. They are fundamental to building a stronger, more connected, more confident community. Now, there is a chance for Dartford to be recognised nationally as a UK Town of Culture, bringing up to £3million to the town, and we are up for the journey to make it happen.

Dartford is full of stories; Stories of growing up here, stories of creativity and change, stories of community, pride and belonging, stories that deserve to be heard.

Your stories will help form our Expression of Interest to become UK Town of Culture, because this bid isn’t just about heritage or landmarks, it’s about the people who make Dartford what it is today.
