At the February Meeting of the Council thanks were recorded to Wilmington Grammar School for Boys for the Friday morning litter-pick on the Common by some of the students; to Mark, the Parish Groundsman for keeping the Village Centre tidy and to Dartford Borough Council's Waste and Recycling Officers for the support given to the Parish efforts to create a clean environment for the wellbeing of its residents.

Special mention also for the growing number of residents who voluntarily spend time picking up litter around where they live; their endeavours are greatly appreciated not only by the Parish Council but also the community.

The Parish Council has registered with Keep Britain Tidy to participate in this year's 'Great British Spring Clean' and will be hoping to get a good turn out of residents. The event is scheduled to be held between 10.00 and noon on Saturday 14th March so put the date and time in your diary. Further details will be posted on the website and social media nearer the date
