Notice of Casual Vacancy - Birchwood Ward

Due to the resignation of Lesley Rock a vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for for the Birchwood Ward of the Parish Council.(NB - This is a 3-Member Ward)

In accordance with Rule 5 of the Local Elections (Parishes & Communities)(England & Wales) Rules 2006, if by close of play on Friday 4th December (14 working days after the date of the above Notice), a request for an election to fill said vacancy is made to the Proper Officer, Dartford Borough Council, Civic Centre, Home Gardens, Dartford DA1 1DR by TEN electors of the said Ward then an election will be held within 60 working days from the date of the publicastion of that Notice.

If no such request is made, the vacancy will be filled in accordance with the Parish Council's Co-Option Policy.
