Following message received from Dartford Borough Council -

Join us for a celebration of books.

Youngsters aged between two and 11 (accompanied by a parent or guardian) are invited to Dartford’s Children's Book Festival at The Orchards Shopping Centre on Saturday, 19 September.

The event is a celebration of classic children’s literature as well as the latest publishing sensations.

Activities available throughout the day will include arts and crafts, storytelling, interactive characters, roaming dinosaurs, magicians and lots more.

In addition to the above, your prebooked ticket will grant (residents only) access to ‘The Book Festival Library’ which will be held within The Meeting Place, in the Orchard Shopping Centre. You will have 25 minutes in this dedicated library to browse the selection of titles and walk away with a FREE bag of books. The timed sessions will begin at 9am, the last session will be at 4.30pm.

Each child will require a ticket including babes in arms. Adults (one only per child please) do not need a ticket.
