Borough Councillor Brian Garden has forwarded the above image which may address the understandable confusion regarding next weeks road closure
Emergency Road Closure - Birchwood Drive, Wilmington - 16th February 2026 (Dartford)

It will be necessary to close Birchwood Drive, Wilmington from 16th February 2026 for up to 15 days.

The road will be closed from junction of Silver Birch Close for 10m into Birchwood Drive.

There is no alternative route. Every effort will be made to maintain access for residents whenever it is safe to do so.

This is to enable drainage repairs to be carried out by Kent County Council.
