Chestnut Grove Incident

The Parish Council was disppointed to find that a felled tree has been dumped on the Chestnut Grove Open Space. This is a form of fly-tipping and the Council would be interested in viewing any CCTV or doorcamera images to enable the person(s) responsible to be identified and appropriate action taken.

The tree was not one for which the Parish had responsibility however the cost of clearing the debris will have to be met by the Council - or ultimately by Wilmington and Joydens Wood council tax payers!

On a positive note, Mark, the Parish Groundsman has cut back the trees overhanging the Public Right of Way leading to Birchwood Road. The responsibility for clearing the overgrowth on the other side of the path lies with the owner of the adjacent property.
